Are you talking about the funny misfiring and running pig rich? If so then yes, those can cause the problems you are having.

If this really is the problem, this is a good way to diagnose running rich, straight from the bgb.

-Check for any CEL's
-Check ignition timing (10 degrees before TDC)
-Check idle speed (5sfe USA M/T = 750 rpm)
-Check cold start injector (this is a good one)
-check fuel pressure
-check TPS
-check injectors
-check spark plugs
-check efi circuit (tps, injector wiring, fuel cut rpm, ecu, o2 sensor)
I would also check the coolant temp sensor and possibly the intake air temp.

it doesnt backfire or anything new plugs wires coil and so on, i guess i just gotta replace those last two sensors u listed it just wont rev past 4k and i met a few of the previouse owners and one said it just started doing that randomly, but it reads the motor tempature and never goes past a little above the mid when im doggin on it. sigh it so frustrating

yeah with old cars you have to replace everything unless they real old and then you just let it run with a little jet fuel to clean the lines and carb hehe

my coolant temp sensor was completely rotten. my car being an automatic kinda relies on that sensor for shifting purposes/ knowing when to shift. not sure how it effects manuals, but i'm sure if it's bad it will have a negative effect on the performance. of course if any sensor is bad, it usually has a negative effect

No poptart, there are 2 different coolant temp sensors. One is strictly for the ecu to control air/fuel ratio and shifting like cakemashin said. Then then there is a 2nd sensor which is simply just for the temp gauge.

no problem, if I recall correctly I think the green sensor is for the ecu. They are both on the coolant neck, where you fill it up from.
